Broken Free’s winning poem on the topic: VIRTUE

Photo by DANNY G on Unsplash

She arms herself
With a false sense
Of virtue.
Like two faces,
Interchangeable,
Replacing one
With the other
Effortlessly as
Blinking an eye.
When it’s convenient.
Failing to see
Her doom.
When her
Carefully crafted façade
Comes crashing down.
