I posted about this poem on Twitter today. I am curious about what the true meaning behind this is. Here’s what I love about it — I love that it’s not easy to understand. I love that the reader has to work for it. We have to break down each line and actually think about what is being said (at least, I did). Too often, mindless fluff seems to be the “go-to.” Yet, we have these amazing brains that are waiting to tap into the unknown! My thought was this was about religion and the search for truth. The title implies it’s an argument. My guess was it’s a culmination of Tillich v Harris or religion v no religion, though I am not quite sure I am right. Enlighten me~
